A hand-bound photographic exploration in the variation of sidewalks.
Unemployed, bored, and recently moved to San Francisco. One day I got the itch to just make something. After walking around and grabbing some photos of local sidewalks I printed and bound everything into a simple book. Turned out pretty cool for an afternoon’s work.
If I did it again, I think I’d add a level of typography and story to it. Maybe the route. Possibly the cross streets. Something beyond just simple gridded layouts of photos.
I specifically made the grid to overlap the gutter and have images cropped and appear on various pages.
